There are two different booster clubs from the Gray New Gloucester High School. The Patriot Grandstand Club is a booster specifically for the Patriots Football team. The Athletic Boosters support all the other high school teams. Both groups collaborate and support the festival by hosting the barbeque meal in our food tent on Saturday and Sunday. The football boosters have supported the event since the beginning in 2006. The athletic boosters joined us in 2010 the event turned into a 2-day festival and races were added on Saturday.

Mollyockett Pony Club

Mollyockett Pony ClubVolunteers for the Mollyockett Pony Club have managed our Valley Farm Road Aid Station since 2009. The young ladies from the club bring a level of enthusiasm and creativity that is hard to beat. That’s why they’ve won the Runner’s Choice Award 3 out of the last 4 years. In 2012 the ladies brought in a group of drummers whose performance probably shocked and delighted runners as they passed by.

Falmouth Nordic Ski Team

Falmouth Nordic Ski TeamStudents from the Falmouth (Maine) Nordic Ski Team have managed the Yurt Aid Station since 2009. During the winter months they’re either training or competing on the same XC ski trails where our trail race is held. Two of their coaches, Jeff Walker and James Demer, are very accomplished trail runners themselves and run with the festival’s local trail running club – Trail Monster Running.

Maine Youth Orchestra

Maine Youth OrchestraThe Maine Youth Orchestra has been with the festival since 2010. Every year MYO members have been lugging their instruments into the woods and giving mini concert performances! In the beginning they were positioned deep in the woods at the Oak Hill Aid Station. With no roads or regular vehicle access large string instruments had to be transported very carefully on the back of an ATV. Nowadays the MYO is located at the Final Mile Aid Station within walking distance from the start/finish area.
